Eating while on the Island will take some planning. While there are several great places to eat, you likely will not want to eat out every meal and will likely want to have snack and drinks around for early mornings and late evenings. We plan out our meals for our stay to minimize what we need to bring. Below are some of the island favorites.
Over The Water Restaurant (OTW) located just steps from Seabatical townhouse – dine while gazing out over Safety Harbor. Seating is limited so reservations are required for dinner. Depending on season, lunch is available most days, Call ahead to check, 239-472-4762
(Currently closed) Mainstay restaurant and Barnacle’s Bar – serving lunch and dinner. This is an island favorite for local boaters, residents and guests. The menu includes local seafood fare and other bar favorites such as fish tacos and of course a “cheeseburgers in paradise”. North Captiva Island Club Pool Bar – Bar menu favorites such as sandwiches, burgers, fries, tropical drinks and cold beer.
Mangos Island Store- An island standby for some last minute items, take out sandwich orders and pizza, and ice cream
