Whether you’re a veteran of the island or it’s your first time, North Captiva will not disappoint. We want you to enjoy our property and the island as much as we do. This is NOT an investment property, but rather our second home. We spend as much time as we possibly can on North Captiva and love the island.
A little about us. I am a Real Estate professor at University of Alabama (Roll Tide). My wife, Louise and I grew up in southern Virginia. She went to Virginia Tech and I went to Ole Miss (Hotty Toddy). We have a daughter, Wellsley Anne and 4 dogs, Prestwould, Buggs Island, Nokie and Riva Del Lago. We have been coming to the “island” for years, but finally took the plunge and purchased in 2021. Once in a lifetime you find a place and you know, this is “IT”. We looked at properties all over including Hawaii, Bahamas, Puerto Rico and multiple places in Florida… but just kept coming back to the “island”. There is just something about this place that relaxes your mind. The water, beaches, vegetation, flowers, palm trees, and wildlife! We enjoy walking around the island…to the beach, or to the Island pool bar for an afternoon drink. Every time we visit, it’s like the first time. We love this place and hope you will as well.
